Detailed descriptionLocated less than 10 minutes walk away from both the Marquês de Pombal square and also the Picoas metro station, this quality air-conditioned apartment has a bright and spacious living room, with fully-equipped kitchenette at one end, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a private terrace. It is situated on the third floor of a building with no lift and has been recently renovated, in February 2017.
The entrance hall leads to a spacious living area which comprises living room, dining room and kitchen. There are two large and comfortable sofas facing the huge flat-screen TV showing international cable channels,and the full-length windows can be opened to give access to the private terrace, which is large enough to sit outside. Natural light floods in through these double-glazed windows, making the room bright and airy.
There is a dining table and 6 chairs in the adjacente dining room, and an independent kitchen, which has all the necessary home appliances and kitchen utensils for guests to make their own meals. There is a washing machine, cooker, microwave, kettle, coffee-machine, cups, plates, pots & pans, etc.
There are three separate bedrooms, with beds for up to 5 guests. Two of the large bedrooms have a double bed, and there is one smaller bedroom with a single bed.
The temperature for the apartment can be regulated - both cooled and heated - by the air-conditioning units installed in several rooms. Although for most of the year, guests here will want to open the windows as wide as possible to let in the fresh air and sun!
The Victoria Apartments are two properties located on the same floor of the same building. There is a common entrance hall with a lockable exterior door, and each apartment has its own second entrance door, which is also lockable. This allows the two apartments to be rented together for a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, and for up to 7 guests. You can see both properties below:

Location and SurroundingsThe apartment is in the center of Lisbon, equidistant between the Marques de Pombal and Picoas metro stations - just a 10 minute walk to either. It is located in a quiet residential street, but the bustling Avenida da Liberdade, with its designer stores, quality restaurants and great cafés is just a short walk from here.
That famous, tree-lined, wide avenue, the Avenida da Liberdade, is a great place to stay abreast of the fashion trends, and a walk down here towards the south will quickly bring you to Lisbon's downtown area, the Baixa. Once you're at the Rossio square, you'll see the Castelo de São Jorge looming above - hop on one of famous yellow trams to climb the hills and discover the castle close up.
Small shops, cafés and restaurants are never far away when you're in this area - there is plenty of everything along the nearby Duque de Loulé and Conde de Redondo streets as well. Together with the metro stations already mentioned, several buses run along the main streets near the apartment.
Additional information- This is a non-smoking apartment and no pets are allowed.
- There is a 150 euros damage deposit, which will be refunded in full as long as no damage is done to the apartment
- Standard check-in from 3pm (15h00) and check-out before 11am (11h00). Other times may be available on request
- Surcharge for late check-in after 10pm (22h00): 25 euros
- Obligatory cleaning fee: 25 euros, to be paid in cash
- please note that from the 1st of January 2016 a city tax of EUR 1 per person, per night is not included in the total price and should be paid on site. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and older. It is subject to a maximum amount of EUR 7 per guest.
