We loved this studio and it had all we needed. The description of everything to do with the studio was accurate. It was clean, the linen & towels were provided, as well as coffee. Oliviero (the owner) was very helpful and kept in touch with frequent emails. I would definitely recommend this property to friends or relatives. Beware that the ceiling in the kitchen and over the bed is quite low if you are a tall person. Also you have to climb 120 stairs to reach the studio. We ate at the A Liquorista restaurant in the same street, as well as eating in. There is a dossier in the studio recommending restaurants, supermarkets etc. We walked around the main areas in Lisbon and would recommend catching the Metro to Parque das Nacoes where Expo 98 was held. We went in the Pavilhao do Conhecimento, which is similar to Techniquest.

It is a fantastic apartment, fully equipped and functional. Ideally located in the heart of Lisbon, although total quietness and absence of noise. My husband and I spent four nights there. By the owner, total availability and facilities. Very beautiful and historic significance that makes it even more special.

“Sunrise with a view” It was great to stay at this loft in Rua dos Sapateiros right at the heart of Old Lisbon, literally a few steps away from the Elevador da Santa Justa, a major attraction which offers panoramic views of the bay, and a 10-min walk to the bohemian nightlife of Bairo Alto. We took the opportunity to sneak up to the rooftop and have our morning coffee (owner generously provides a coffee machine with free good coffee) while looking at the fortress, overlooking the centre, bathed in the rays of the early morning sun. I do recommend Olivier's place for travellers who want to explore the nightlife and cultural landmarks of downtown Lisbon. It is also quiet, being on the last floor, but the downside is that people with disabilities would find it difficult to get up to the top. Yet, the nice views and sense of tranquility comes at the price of climbing a few flights of stairs. Finally, the price is a bargain for the central location it offers.
