Although our Lisbon Apartments have everything you need for a perfect self-catering holiday in the centre of the city, if you are staying here over the Christmas or New Year period, you may decide to celebrate the festive period with a celebratory dinner at one of Lisbon’s many restaurants.

So, in collaboration with Lisboando.com who, it must be said, has done most of the fieldwork, we present here a list of restaurants in Lisbon open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

And so, in no particular order, here we have several Lisbon restaurants open during Christmas and New Year:-

A Travessa

A Travessa is said to be one of Lisbon’s best restaurants. It certainly has a unique setting, located as it is in what was once a 17th Century convent near the Santos-o-Velho district of the city.

Restaurante ANL

The restaurant of the Lisbon Naval Association (Restaurante da Associação Naval de Lisboa) is located at the dock area of the Belém district, and provides wonderful views of the nearby marina.

Os Cunhados

Regional Portuguese cuisine in a friendly family setting.

Restaurant York House “A Confraria”

A romantic restaurant in Lisbon located in a 17th century convent and attached to a small boutique hotel.
