Although our Lisbon Apartments have everything you need for a perfect self-catering holiday in the centre of the city, if you are staying here over the Christmas or New Year period, you may decide to celebrate the festive period with a celebratory dinner at one of Lisbon’s many restaurants.

So, in collaboration with Lisboando.com who, it must be said, has done most of the fieldwork, we present here a list of restaurants in Lisbon open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

If you know if any other Lisbon restaurants open on these special days, perhaps with special menus or programs for the holiday period, please let us know below in the comments, and we will update this post.

And so, in no particular order, here we have several Lisbon restaurants open during Christmas and New Year:-

A Travessa

A Travessa is said to be one of Lisbon’s best restaurants. It certainly has a unique setting, located as it is in what was once a 17th Century convent near the Santos-o-Velho district of the city.
