This 5th-floor apartment faces one of the most impressive historical buildings in Lisbon - the National Parliament. It is a 1-bedroom apartment located in a building with no lift and has a comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge, and therefore accommodating up to 3 guests, or even a couple with 2 small children.The bedroom enjoys bright, modern decor and has a double bed, table and reading lamp. The renovated wooden flooring covers the entire apartment space and in the living room there is a 2-seater sofa which folds out for extra sleeping space.
The kitchen is bright and modern, and the clean white cupboards hold everything you need for your stay in central Lisbon. Rua da Quintinha is the name of the street where this apartment is located in the Príncipe Real district, very close to the famous Bairro Alto. This is fast becoming one of Lisbon's most trendy districts, filled with gardens, a couple of the city's most lovely squares, and colourful houses.Only a few steps away you can find supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and shops, especially around Praça das Flores, a romantic, cozy leafy square garden. This area is popular with artists and students, and is close to the vibrant and bohemian Bairro Alto with its steep cobbled streets, lively nightlife and trendy shops.
From here you are within walking distance to the areas of Chiado, Bairro Alto, são Bento with its antiques shops, and the Santos Design District.
Nearby Lisbon's botanical garden and National History Museum may be found. At the lovely Praça das Flores square you can have brunch on Sundays at Pão de Canela. Nearby you can find the Brasileira Café, one of Lisbon's oldest and best loved cafeterias. Originally opened in 1905, the cafe is decorated in Art Deco style and has been a favorite haunt of poets, writers and artists for decades.
