Location and SurroundingsThe apartment is on the ground-floor of a building located in the well-known Santos district of central Lisbon, just 10 minutes walk from the National Museum of Ancient Art and 5 minutes from the Museu da Marioneta (Puppet Museum).
Tram 25, stopping approximately 30 meters away, ensures an easy and fast way to reach the heart of the Bairro Alto to enjoy Lisbon's nightife, with cafés, restaurants and clubs. Walking towards the river, and after crossing the main avenue, there are plenty of riverfront restaurants like the Meninos do Rio and others. In the other direction, and climbing Lisbon's typical streets from the apartment and heading north, we find Lapa, a charming and aristocratic neighbourhood, where large single family mansions, small palaces and gardens surrounded by embassies are situated, probably one of the safest areas in Lisbon!
The area is well served and connected with public transportation: the bus 727 takes you to the city centre in just 15 minutes and the trains in Santos can take you to Belém, or even outside Lisbon to Estoril and Cascais.
