This apartment was recently renovated in 2011 and is a spacious 65m2 one-bedroom apartment, with another double bed placed just off the living area to provide comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to 4 guests in the historic centre of Lisbon.

The living room is a large open space with traditional wooden flooring and a high ceiling made of old wooden beams. There is a sofa and dining table and chairs, together with flatscreen TV, DVD player and floor to celing french windows which open out on to a narrow balcony. To one side of the living space, there is a double bed in the corner which provides sleeping space for an extra 2 guests, meaning 4 people can stay here in complete comfort.

The main bedroom also has a double bed, and is flooded with natural light from the large windows which open out on to the same narrow balcony railing.

Bright and contemporary green tones provide the modern bathroom decor, where there is a stand-up power-shower unit and wash-basin.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the necessary items to cater for yourself during your stay in central Lisbon: cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery, coffee-maker, dish-washer, washing-machine, toaster and kettle.

Location and Surroundings

This is Rua dos Correeiros, right next to the famous Rua Augusta street in the heart of Lisbon's downtown district, the Baixa

A simple indication of this property's location, is the fact that from the windows of the apartment you can see 3 important historic Lisbon monuments: the Elevador de Santa Justa, the ruins of the Carmo Convent, and the majestic São Jorge Castle.

This is the very centre of Lisbo, with many good bars, cafés and restaurants in the surrounding area. From here it is a short walk to the major Rossio and Praça do Comércio squares, and also to the main tourist districts of Alfama, Chiado and Bairro Alto, although the street itself is calm and quiet at night, and your peaceful sleep won't be disturbed.

Just a short walk away, you can find the metro stations of Rossio, Baixa-Chiado and also Terreiro do Paço. There are several tram lines passing by this area, and many different bus stops. A taxi ride from the airport will take less than 30 minutes and the airport bus stops just 5 minutes away.

This area has many restaurants and shops, and several famous cafés. It's the perfect location for a great stay in Lisbon
