This spacious 1-bedroom apartment is next to the Miradouro da Graca, a shady viewpoint looking out towards the Moorish castle of Sao Jorge and across the city to the the Tagus river as it flows out to the Atlantic Ocean. Sit outside on the terrace and enjoy beautiful views of Lisbon and the river. From here in Graça, Lisbon's city centre is an easy 10 minute downhill walk - and the famous Tram 28 will bring you back up the hill.

The L-shaped living space is approximately 40 sq.m, with a double bed in the alcove. French windows open out to a large balcony at the back and to a wide terrace that runs the full length of the living room at the front. There are great views across the tiled roofs of Lisbon and down to the river from both sides.

There are two deckchairs, plus a table and two chairs on the front terrace. Watching the sun set, as you sit with a glass of Portugal's excellent wine in your hand, is an experience to be savoured.

The living area has a couple of comfortable 2-seater sofas, two wicker chairs, a large coffee table, multichannel cableTV, a DVD player (there's a DVD rental shop just around the corner), internet access and a small desk. There is a round dining table aith two dining chairs.

The kitchen , decorated with traditional Portuguese blue and white tiles, has a four-burner ceramic hob, a microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator, toaster and a fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, saucepans and glasses etc.

The bathroom has a spacious 90 cm shower, washbasin and toilet, and the flat has a washing machine and drier.

There is storage for suitcases with hanging room for clothes, two chests of drawers, an iron and ironng board and an additional fridge/freezer in a separate utility room. The room has a full-sized mirror.

Location and Surroundings

This delightful spacious studio apartment is next to the the Miradouro da Graca, a shady viewing point looking out towards the  Moorish castle,of Sao Jorge and across the city to the the Tagus river as it flows out to the Atlantic Ocean.

Just above the picturesque Alfama and Mouraria districts, Graca is an easy 10 minute downhill walk to Lisbon's city centre  - and the famous Tram no 28 will bring you back up the hill.

The Largo da Graca (main square), a 4 minute walk from the flat, is a bustling little shopping area with a supermarket, a number of small family-run food shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as banks,  general stores and a taxi stand. (Lisbon taxis are cheap!)

Additional information

- a security deposit of 150 euros is payable on arrival, and returned at the end of your stay if no damage is done to the property
- there is a small surcharge of 30€ for late check-ins after 8pm (20h), and 40&euro after 10pm (22h) but no extra charge for the initial cleaning
