Well situated in older part of Lisbon, close to bars, cafés, restaurants, mini market, number 28 tram and metro, etc. not too noisy at night, but quite safe. We are in the second half of our sixties. Very warm and helpful welcome by Caetano Loft caretakers, excellent. Apartment is well appointed, including washing machine. It is also secure, we were comfortable in leaving valuables rather than carry them whilst sightseeing, etc. The double bed was very comfortable. There is no lift, but we did not feel the need for one. As long are you are aware that there can be a little noise during the night, then we have no hesitation in recommending Caetano's Loft. Tip: if coming from the airport by taxi, get a quote from the driver. Should be about 15 euros.
