Our self-catering accommodation simply couldn't be better located, in central Lisbon and right next to the main tourist area of Alfama, Lisbon's famous historic and traditional neighbourhood with its cobbled streets and excellent Fado restaurants. And just 100 metres from the Alfama municipal swimming pool. The Lisbon beaches of Costa da Caparica, Cascais and Estoril are just a short journey away by public transport, and we cater for families and children.
We have 2 romantic duplex apartments, (1 in Alfama and 1 in the Mouraria district) and two apartments in the same building which are suitable for groups. This apartment building is situated just round the corner from the Santa Apolonia Metro station, which means arrival by public transport is trouble-free, and major tourist attractions and famous places such as the National Pantheon, the Feira da Ladra flea market and the expansive Praça de Comercio square are all within walking distance. This is quite simply a superb place to stay in Lisbon, Portugal.
Our rental lodging has absolutely wonderful views over the Tagus river and towards the Cristo Rei statue, or over the rooftops of the city, which really have to be seen to be believed. Open the wide windows of the light-filled rooms and sit back to relax and take in all that this wonderful city has to offer. Lisbon, with its 7 hills, is a marvellous place for short-stay vacations, weekend city breaks as well as long stay holidays or relocations. And these modern holiday rentals are almost always more economical than hotels or cheap hostels for both short and long stays. Our apartments are no-smoking and gay-friendly.
